About Rachel
My name is Rachel Starr Thomson. I am a writer. I write novels, short stories, essays, and the occasional poem. My self-published books can be found on this site, and my articles appear regularly at Boundless.org and in the pages of Homeschooling Today Magazine. I maintain several blogs, including Inklings, which is a good place to keep up with my writing.
I am an editor and writing coach. I wield a mad red pen, but I’m nice about it. I’m currently copy editing for Home School Enrichment Magazine and coaching high schoolers with Write At Home, a sort of private tutoring service which I absolutely love.
I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the hope of the world. Much of this Web site is centered around those beliefs.
I am the oldest of twelve children, a homeschool graduate, a wannabe herbalist, a lover of long walks, good books, and the fellowship of God’s people, an incurable tea-drinker, and a counter-culture revolutionary who thinks life would be far, far better if we all chucked our television sets out the window.
