When To-Do Meets Have-Done
What I Did Today:
1. Slept. Sleep is good. Very good. Especially after not sleeping the night before because bachelorette parties run late and loud.
2. Drank chai and ate a canole for breakfast with my best friend, plus got to spend time talking to my mother, my dad, and various siblings all morning.
3. Compared 1 Corinthians 7 and I Timothy 5 for 45 minutes, journaling all thoughts, Greek definitions, and questions.
4. Went over my life’s goals, dreams, core values, etc. In Franklin Planner-ese this is called “Sharpening the Saw.”
5. Wrote three new pages in The Advent, stared into space a lot, and airlifted in four pages from the old version that will need some tweaking.
6. Edited two articles for Home School Enrichment, very slowly because I was tired.
7. Read a 122-page manuscript for the Tweener Time Chapter Book Competition, left notes throughout, and totaled up scores before sending the whole kaboodle into the content coordinator.
8. E-mailed several friends and clients, giving (hopefully) helpful information and advice on things like editing courses, POV, and formatting.
What I Did Not Do Today (that was on my list):
1. Read more of the book on writing about literature that I’m currently reading. (That sentence makes my brain hurt.)
2. Figure out how many of each of my books I need to order so I can sell them in the coming season, especially Worlds Unseen which sells really well when I take it out in public.
3. Blog (until now! Ha!)
4. Go to the bank. Can do TOMORROW.
Life is good. See you tomorrow!
